ANBF is a nonprofit support organization, working for the empowerment of communities  especially single mothers and single parent’s children since 2012. We educate communities & single mothers, enhance their skills, polish their abilities, empower their strength, provide them jobs and reduce harm from stress, anxiety, depression and support them emotionally, psychologically and physically.

Raising kids is difficult even with two parents but when it comes to a single mother; life becomes unmanageable and too stressful, which leads to social evils, unemployment and poverty.

“In the United States, more than 80.6 percent of single parents are mothers. Among them, 45 percent are divorced or separated, 1.7 percent are widowed, while 34 percent never have been married, according to Census Bureau statistics from 2013”.

“One of the many consequences of being a child of a single parent is that the child is more likely to be born into poverty and remain there. Today, 1 in 4 children under the age of 18, a total of about 17.4 million, are being raised without a father  and nearly half (45 percent) live below the poverty line, according to the Single Mother Guide”.

These single mothers and their children need the attention and support of our community as well as assistance from donors and government institution to bring them up from isolation, anxiety, depression and poverty so ANBF offers ,scholarships for skills training, free yoga classes, psychological counseling, meditation, free child care and free food from food pantry to single mothers and their children.
